The OXO SoftWorks 5-lb Food Scale is ideal for weighing meat, produce, herbs and more. The digital display features large numbers and measures in 1/8-oz and 1-g increments. Place ingredients directly on the stainless steel platform, on a plate or in a bowl. An optional backlight illuminates the display in low-light situations, and a weight indicator shows what remains of the Scale's 5-lb capacity. The digital display pulls away from the base to prevent shadowing from plates or bowls. Press the Zero button to offset the weight of a container or to reset the weight before adding additional ingredients. The platform removes for quick cleanup by hand.
