Choose a different garlic press. This one is flimsy and doesn't work well.

Honest to god, we cannot remember a worse product. It didn't push garlic all the way through, it fell apart whilst using and then was impossible to clean. Embarrassing.

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to buy the garlic press, but I’m glad that I did because it’s such a time saver! I’ve used it several times and I’m impressed!

Not dishwasher safe. This press worked fine for us for maybe 4 months before it started rusting after only light use, a few times a month max. As others have said the basket where you place the garlic is rather small. very disappointed in this purchase!

I really enjoy this garlic press. It is a bit smaller and so I do think it takes a few more rounds to crush garlic, but it does a great job and I don't really find much left in the basket- no more than any other press I have used. I also like that it comes apart making it much easier to clean.

This thing is terrible! I like all of my Kitchen Aid products so I figured this would be great as well but no. It doesn't press anything. I have to press 3 whole garlic just to get a teaspoon out of it. It mostly just juices it. Then the rest of the garlic gets stuck inside of the presser and you can't get it out, no matter how much you clean it out. Terrible product!

I had no concerns when I ordered this because of the Kitchen Aid brand, but have used it 4 or 5 times since purchasing it a few weeks ago and am very disappointed. As another reviewer mentioned, the compartment is very small. I can’t even fit one full garlic clove in it and half to chop it in quarters. It also leaves a TON of residue in the press. I would say it crushes about 70% of the garlic and then you have to clean the remaining 30% out by hand and chop it yourself. I am going to just hand mince my garlic over using this in the future because it is a huge pain. I expected more from KitchenAid.

It works fine but the compartment for the garlic i very small so you can’t add more than one clove at a time ( I could not figure that before because it was an online purchase) . I hope it lasts for a long time.
