Q: How long does olive oil stay good in this container? Since it allows air in should it be a concern or olive oil shelf life will last a while in this bottle?

Q: When pouring the oil to serve, is the rubber cap supposed to stay put? Or am I supposed to have to hold the lid while pouring to prevent the cap from falling off when upside down and spilling all oil?

Although it looks pretty it doesn't not operate well. The cap loosens and serves no purpose. It's frustrating when it falls off into the pan and spills half the bottle of oil with it. Pass on this and buy something of better quality.

So cute but breaks SO easily. Bought 1 and it got knocked over on our quartz countertop. A hairline crack formed in the bottle and oil slowly leaked out onto the countertop. Figured it was a fluke so bought a second one. The exact same thing happened. All it took was a little bump that knocked it over and oil was leaking out again.

The stopper on this bottle was so loose fitting that when I tipped it over to pour the oil, the stopper would start sliding out. I ended up going to Homegoods and finding one cuter with almost double the capacity AND the stopper fit tightly (for $3.99!) Long story short…find a different oil dispenser.

This oil bottle, like most Target-branded items, has a fatal flaw that makes it completely useless for its intended purpose. The top does not fit tightly on the bottle so it falls into the pan along with 10x the amount of oil intended, defeating the purpose of buying an oil bottle in the first place. I am the proud owner of this useless item because I didn’t want to spend the extra $2 or whatever to get the branded version that is actually functional. I have made this mistake more times than I care to admit and I am writing this review to discourage others from doing the same. Target will never stop selling us literal garbage if we keep buying it.
