The USB connection provides a quick and easy connection. This is the way that computers should be!and memory too!The little black box: that?ÇÖs the Smarts! In the continuing effort to increase stability and performance, optional DesignaKnit 7.0 has added memory to the cable. The memory improves DAK?ÇÖs Interactive Knitting for today?ÇÖs faster computers.The SilverLink 4 allows Windows 98, 2000 or XP to connect DAK to Silver Electronic Knitting Machines using the USB port on the computer. The SilverLink 4 comes with the USB cable to connect from the box to your computer. If you do not have a USB port you can purchase a serial cable from any local computer supply store and connect the SilverLink 4 to the serial port, giving you the benefit of the memory.
